Lauren E. Cunningham
This installation consisted of multiple versions of a ringed pole supporting a glass bottle horizontally. The largest pole and bottle hung from the ceiling, directly above a white box on the floor below. The box was open on one side and had a one-way mirror on another. Most notably, the box contained a smaller replica of the pole and bottle. This miniature copy could be seen through the transparent side of the mirror, as well as a reflection in it. In all, the original pole and bottle reappear in the artwork twice and are reduced each time: first, by scale; then, by dimension.
